Hero Ingredients
Raspberry Seed OIl
Rich in essential fatty acids like omega 3 & 6, it hydrates and replenishes the skin's barrier. Its anti-inflammatory properties soothes irritation and reduces redness, making it suitable for sensitive skin.
Lactic Acid
Derived from fermented plant products, Lactic Acid is a gentle alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) suitable for sensitive skin. It removes dead cells and promotes cell turnover, resulting in smoother and brighter skin. Lactic acid also helps to hydrate the skin and improve its texture and tone.
Jojoba Oil
Jojoba Oil closely resembles the skin's natural oils, making it an excellent moisturiser that hydrates, nourishes, and protects the skin from environmental stressors.
Prebiotic Inulin
Prebiotic Inulin, sourced from chicory root, nourishes beneficial bacteria on the skin's microbiome, promoting a healthy microbiome balance. This helps to strengthen skin immunity, reduce inflammation, and improve overall skin health.
Mandelic Acid
Mandelic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from bitter almonds. It gently removes dead skin cells and is non-irritating making it suitable for sensitive skin types.

A note from Jess
Cleansing can strip the skin of it natural oils so it is important to go gently and add nourishment back-in whenever possible. I wanted to create a cleanser that removed dead skin cells (an important part of maintaining healthy looking skin), but was gentle and hydrating enough so the skin felt nourished, not stripped. Gentle AHAs of lactic and mandelic acid will lightly remove dead skin cells, making way for new cell turnover, whilst raspberry seed, jojoba, coconut and castor oils nurture the skin's barrier.
